Newbay House Hotel:

Stained and fused glass panel made for the back of bar in the lounge. The largest piece made to date measuring 2,438mm x 2,057mm. This panel is a combination of fused and stained glass. The silver birch tree trunks and branches are made using sheets glass, frit (crushed glass) and stringers (long spaghetti like rods of glass) then fired in the kiln. The owls are made from coloured glass and paints also fired in the kiln. The background is stained glass, and all assembled using copper and solder.
